What is the dosage and how should it be used?

Fexofenadine comes as a tablet to be taken orally. It is usually taken twice a day, in the morning and the evening.

Take each dose with a full glass of water.

Do not take fexofenadine close to a dose of an antiacid that contains aluminum or magnesium such as Rolaids®, Maalox®, Mylanta®, Milk of Magnesia®, Pepcid Complete®, and others. These antiacids may decrease the effects of fexofenadine.

Always follow your doctor's instructions. Never take more of this medication than what prescribed. If you think your symptoms are not being adequately treated, talk to your doctor immediately.
